AI Consulting / Home Services

AI Consulting for Home Services

AI consulting for Canadian home services businesses, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, cleaning, landscaping, contractors. Booking, dispatch, follow-up, and quote workflows.

Where AI actually helps home services

Four focused use cases. We will help you pick the one with the highest ROI for your firm and start there.

Booking and intake automation

AI phone receptionist or chat that books jobs 24/7, qualifies emergencies, and pushes straight into your dispatch software.

Dispatch and routing assistance

AI-aided dispatch suggestions, route optimization, and tech check-in flows that reduce drive time and missed appointments.

Quote and estimate drafting

AI-assisted quote generation from photos, descriptions, or recorded site visits, faster turnaround means more accepted bids.

Review collection and follow-up

Automated post-job follow-up that asks the right way at the right time, and routes complaints to the owner before they hit Google.

Compliance & professional considerations

Every engagement aligns with provincial consumer protection rules (e.g., Ontario CPA), provincial trades regulations, and PIPEDA for customer data. We design workflows that handle deposits, cancellations, and disclosures correctly.

How a typical engagement runs

Four phases, fixed scope, named owner

Phase 1

Discovery

Workflow audit (booking, dispatch, jobs, billing), current tool review (Jobber, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, custom).

Phase 2

Vendor selection

Shortlist 2-3 tools that fit your trade and tech stack. Demo against your real booking and dispatch scenarios.

Phase 3

Pilot + integration

Controlled pilot with one service line. Integration with your dispatch software, payment, and review channels.

Phase 4

Adoption

Office staff training, tech training (kept short, role-specific), 60-day booking and conversion review.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this only for big home-services companies?

No. Most engagements are for owner-operated businesses with 3-30 employees. The math works at almost any size because labour is the main cost and AI is most effective at reducing office and dispatch labour first.

What does this cost?

Single-workflow engagements (just booking, or just dispatch) typically run $5K-$12K. Multi-workflow rollouts (booking + dispatch + follow-up) run $12K-$30K. Many home-services clients start with the Automation Starter package ($2.5K-$7.5K).

Will it work with Jobber / Housecall Pro / ServiceTitan?

Yes. All three have integration paths. We have built AI workflows alongside all of them and we will not recommend a tool that requires you to switch dispatch software unless there is a very strong reason.

My techs are not "tech people." Can they use this?

Yes, because we keep tech-facing changes minimal. Most AI work happens in the office (booking, dispatch, quoting, follow-up). Tech-facing changes are usually a faster check-in flow or auto-drafted job notes, things that save them time, not add to their day.

What about handling emergencies vs scheduled work?

Booking AI is configured to recognize emergency keywords (water leak, no heat, electrical hazard) and route them differently, usually direct-to-phone or top-of-queue dispatch, instead of normal scheduling. We design that logic with you upfront.
