You pay a fixed monthly fee and get a monthly 90-minute working session, on-demand vendor or tool reviews (typically 2-3 per month), an always-on Slack or email channel with 1-business-day response, and a quarterly executive briefing. Cancel any month with 30 days notice. No long-term contract.

Because most AI decisions happen between projects: a vendor pitches, a tool launches, leadership asks "what should we do about this?" A retainer means you already have someone who knows your business and can answer in days, not weeks of scoping. It is cheaper than an unscoped project and faster than a new engagement every time.

Close, but lighter. A fractional CTO or Chief AI Officer is usually 1-2 days per week embedded in your team and costs $8K-$25K/month. Monthly AI Advisory is 4-8 hours per month plus async availability, at $2.5K-$8K/month. It is the right fit for businesses that need senior AI guidance but do not have full-time AI exec work.

Whatever is on your mind. Most common: vendor pitches to evaluate, in-flight project sanity checks, prioritization of the next 1-3 AI initiatives, hiring questions (do we need an AI lead?), governance and policy questions, and AI landscape updates relevant to your industry.

Yes. Most retainers include 3-5 named contacts (typically CEO, CTO, COO, ops lead). They all get the same access. We do not charge per seat.

Yes. You can pause for up to 3 months (e.g., during budget freezes or quiet quarters) and resume without losing context. We keep a running brief on your business so when you come back, we are not starting over.
